I am so thrilled for Well Styled in 2010! There are SO many BIG THINGS happening in the Well Styled Lab for everyone…I can barely stand it! One of the things I am very excited about is providing the Well Styled community with events that will cover so many spectrums of a woman’s world. From our Shopping Field Trips for plus size, maternity, and general to our NEW(!) Specialty Shopping Trips for workout wear (Title Nine), beautiful lingerie (Underwear), and smokin’ hot denim (HEM Jeans)…just to name a few.
Specialty Shopping Trips were created to showcase local specialty stores/boutiques you were always a little curious about checking out, but were a little intimidated to visit on your own. So, think of Well Styled as your shopping wing-man. ;D Specialty Shopping Trips will always be low-cost (just enough to cover for refreshments and o’hdurves) because we rather you spend your money on what each specialty store has to offer and support locally owned businesses. On most of these trips you will have the amazing opportunity to meet and talk-it-up with the store owner, which will allow you to express what you love or what you don’t. How often can you provide that type of feedback at a chain store and see results almost overnight?! More importantly, we want you to feel comfortable in these stores which can sometimes be intimidating or scary based on what you think they might not offer for you in size or price. Be assured that if Well Styled partnered with a specialty shop, it will have something that will appeal to the woman with curves and three kids to the woman who is just out of college and can afford one cute top for a night on the town.
Another new item to the Well Styled event menu is the Mom + Teen Shop. Well Styled has partnered with the fabulous Katie Malinski, LCSW who specializes in helping families (in this case, moms and daughters) find harmony and balance when it comes to agreeing on a teen’s unique look. Katie will do her magic in the heart and mind, while Well Styled puts together looks that will showcase a teen’s individual style. The first Mom + Teen Shop is scheduled for Saturday, February 27.
